Sr. System Administrator
Qualification:
Degree in Engineering, in Electronics & Telecommunication (E&T)/ IT / Comp. Science / Electronics in the IT field or Diploma in E&T/IT/Electronics with min.
Salary: 18k to 28k
Experience: At least 3 years of relevant experience for Engineering Degree holders or 5 years of relevant experience for Diploma holders in the maintenance of similar systems. She/he should also have experience in the administration of UNIX / Linux & MS Windows Server Operating Systems.
Roles & Responsibilities:
• Professional experience in Linux System Administration, installation, configuration, maintenance, and end user support in RHEL 4/ 5/6.
• Proficient in interfacing external devices like Storage, Tape Library and other backup devices.
• Good working knowledge with Cluster environment and other mission critical systems.
• Adequate knowledge of Networking and related troubleshooting in SAN & NAS environment.
• Ability to Communicate comfortably at all levels, thereby ensuring good Teamwork.
• Taking care of AMC payments related jobs like- Bill submission and follow-up with Customer.
• Basic hardware knowledge of Printing and scanning devices
